425 tons of Unsafe Imported Fruits Were Detected

Experts of Central laboratory of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate FGBI “Centre for Grain Quality Assurance” detected over 425 tons of imported plant products dangerous for human health...

The imported fruits were contaminated with pesticide residues and nitrates at the amounts exceeding maximum admissible levels. Dangerous plant products included peaches (19.7 tons), grapes (115 tons) and apples (290 tons). All low quality products were imported from Poland, Turkey and Greece. Detection data were submitted to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for Moscow City, Moscow and Tula Oblasts.
